WILDLIFE AND CULTURE THREE DAY PACKAGE

Day 1

You will be met at OR Tambo International Airport transported by conditioned coach (or similar) directly to Lesedi Cultural Village where we will be spending two nights.

After a light lunch at a nearby country restaurant (not included in the package rate), your guide will take you to the Lion Park where you will have the rare opportunity of getting up close to the king of all cats. The reserve is also home to cheetah, black leopard, wild dogs, caracals, jackals, wildebeest, giraffe, springbok and a variety of other creatures.

Before heading back to Lesedi, we will feast at the world renowned Carnivore Restaurant, where waiters circulate wielding Masai swords spiked with a wide selection of charcoal meats ranging from beef and chicken to ostrich and kudu, to name just a few. A vegetarian menu is also available.

Day 2

After a hearty breakfast at Lesedi, your guide will take you to De Wildt Cheetah Farm. Established to breed endangered species, this centre is internationally recognised for its superb effort to save the cheetah from the brink of extinction. This success has been unparalleled anywhere else in the world! Visitors are offered an interface with the rare King Cheetah, African Wild Dog, Brown Hyena and a variety of antelope and bird life.

We will stop for lunch en route back to Lesedi (not included in the package rate). We will then return to Lesedi for a few hours rest before beginning the Lesedi evening cultural experience, where you will enjoy exhibitions of tribal dancing and explore African cuisine with a feast of traditional dishes at the Nyama Choma restaurant.

Day 3

After breakfast at Lesedi, we will head out to Hartbeespoort Dam and take the cable car to the top of the Magaliesberg mountain.

Experience the excitement of a cable car trip on the longest mono-cableway in Africa!!! Enjoy watching the hang-gliders leap off the mountain and revel in the outstanding view of the dam and surrounding area. Hereafter we will head back to OR Tambo International Airport for your ongoing flight.
