WILDLIFE AND CULTURE FOUR DAY PACKAGE

Day 1

You will be met at OR Tambo (Johannesburg) International Airport transported by conditioned coach directly to Lesedi Cultural Village where we will be spending three nights.

After you have settled in, the coach will transfer you to Chameleon Village for a few hours of craft shopping. Lunch at your leisure (not included). We will then return you to Lesedi for the afternoon cultural experience, finishing off with a delicious three course African Feast. Let your pulse beat to the original rhythms of Africa. Excite your taste buds to traditional foods and experience African dancing at its best.

Day 2

Option 1:

After breakfast at Lesedi, we depart for Glen Afric, a working game farm. Enjoy a two hour 'Walk with Elephants', a particularly special experience, before sitting down to a buffet lunch in the beautiful lodge, overlooking the magnificent Magaliesberg mountains. Spend the afternoon at Ostri San, interacting and learning more about ostriches, and view genuine bushman paintings.

After a bit of free time at Lesedi, we move on to the world renowned Carnivore Restaurant, where waiters circulate wielding Masai swords, offering a wide selection of charcoal meats, from beef and chicken to ostrich and kudu, to name just a few. A vegetarian menu is also available. Return to Lesedi.

Option 2:
After breakfast at Lesedi, we head out to the Crocodile River for a day of fun. Enjoy a 2 hour river rafting excursion, a 25 metre abseil, a rock jump and a phoofy slide ride. Enjoy a light meal on the river side in between the events. This will be followed by a brief tour around Hartbeespoort Dam, before embarking on a sunset cruise and enjoying a traditional South African braai (barbeque). Return to Lesedi.

Day 3

After breakfast at Lesedi we will head out to Big 5 Country - the Pilanesberg National Park, deep in the rugged bushveld. Experience the living silence of an eroded volcano that is more than a thousand million years old. Enjoy a morning of delightful game viewing - savour the diverse variety of flora and fauna in the park. Enjoy lunch at Bakubung Game Lodge.

Next is Sun City Lost City in the heart of an ancient volcano - the world's most unique resort. Explore the wonderful gardens, be amazed by the splendid architecture or spend the afternoon lazing in the sun. Dinner at Sun City at a restaurant of your choice (own expense). Return to Lesedi.

Day 4

After breakfast at Lesedi, we will head out to Hartbeespoort Dam and take the cable car to the top of the Magaliesberg mountain. Experience the excitement of a cable car trip on the longest mono-cableway in Africa!!!

Enjoy watching the hang-gliders leap off the mountain and revel in the outstanding view of the dam and surrounding area. Hereafter we will head back to OR Tambo (Johannesburg) International Airport for your ongoing flight.
