Three Day Itinerary

Day One
08h30 - 09h00 Rendezvous at Johannesburg International Airport.
10h30 - 11h30 Just over an hour's drive from the airport - Cable Car ride to the top of the Magaliesberg for a breathtaking view of the picturesque mountain range and the Hartbeespoort Dam.

12h00 - 15h00 Midday cruise on board the African Water Safari. This open air floating restaurant affords a tranquil trip and sensationally scenic views of the surrounds and the leisure facilities on the shores of the Hartbeespoort Dam. Includes a delicious three course meal.
15h15 - 16h00 A short tour of the new Peacanwood Time Share Golf Estate on the banks of the Hartbeespoort Dam. The course was designed by Jack Nicklaus.
16h15 Check into the Lesedi Cultural Village to sing, dance and taste traditional Africa. Experience a fully interpretative and participative cultural evening and stay over in beautifully appointed traditional African huts.

Day Two
07h00 - 08h00 Early breakfast and check out.
09h00 - 10h00 Pit Stop over at the Four Way Stop Craft Market at the Hartbeespoort Dam.
11h00 - 15h00 Check into the Cabanas at Sun City. Enjoy a site tour of the Sun City complex including the Palace of the Lost City or have the afternoon at leisure in one of the worlds most exciting and innovative leisure and recreation resorts. Light luncheon in the Entertainment Centre.
15h30 - 22h00

Conducted sunset Game Drive and upmarket Bush Braai in an exclusive area in the Pilanesberg National Park Big Five reserve next to Sun City. Includes snacks and refreshments during the drive and a commemorative t-shirt.

Day Three
06h00-07h00 Early morning check out and breakfast en route.
09h30-12h30 An abridged Historical Tour of Mafikeng, the capital of the North West Province, focussing on all the major Siege Sites (Cannon Kopje, the Mafikeng Museum and Col. Baden Powell’s Scout Centre - origin of the Scout Movement). Includes a light picnic lunch.
15h00-18h00 Late afternoon canoeing on the Vaal River in the Dome Highland Nature Park. The Dome is the site where a meteorite crashed into the earth millions of years ago. Today it is a veritable treasure trove of outdoor ACTIVITIES located in very scenic environs.
18h30-19h00 Mampoer and Witblitz (intoxicating spirits distilled from fruit) Tasting Session at Schoemanati (A champion Distiller’s farm)
19h15 Check in at Lenyebe River Lodge on the banks of the Vaal river. Enjoy a relaxing camp fire evening and savour a traditional Afrikaner Braai.
Next Morning
07h00 Hearty breakfast and departure for Johannesburg International Airport.
