The Eye ...

The Molemane Eye and Farm is a singular place. Its setting and abundance of attractions provide variety - an essential ingredient to enjoyment!

Areas under development are accommodation units along the lake edge, a central conference and entertainment area offering some catering facilities, a caravan and camping site, the Molemane Eye and historically significant places which include a National Monument. The old Duncan-Rose farmhouse will be converted into a museum.

Other developments include game stocking for breeding purposes with high value game species such as rhino, buffalo, sable and eland.

The area has a rich cultural history, and mining connotations locally and in the immediate vicinity.

The project carries the following benefits:

• Enhancing the production or high value game species.

• Improving the income generation base of the Board.

• Promoting SMME empowerment through partnerships.

• Enhancing the tourism base in the Greater Mafikeng Area.
