The Bokone Bophirima Music, Arts & Cultural Festival (BO2 Festival) offers an authentic South African, cross-cultural, nation-building celebration, to be held on the 29th September 2018, during National Tourism and Heritage Month, encompassing a wide range of exciting activities:
1. MUSIC: South African Headline Artists - Live Entertainment & Local DJs featured throughout the day
2. ARTS: South Africa Arts & Crafts Markets, Demonstrations & Interactive Participation. Drama, Storytelling and Poetry from young and old artists
3. CULTURE: Indigenous Games - Dibeke, Kgati, Morabaraba, Kho-Kho, Drie Stok-kies, Jakskie, Incuva, Diketo and Intonga – with a chance to learn and play. Music highlighting our Heritage, Traditional clothing, jewellery & fashion shows
4. FUN & GAMES: Interactive Sports for children and adults, including Jumping Castles, Puppet Shows, Quad Bikes, Paint Balling, Beach Volley Ball and Mini-Basketball
5. FOOD & GOOD TIMES: Enjoy the full range of South African cuisine, across all cultures

The BO2 Festival venue at the Witpoort Dam in Maquassi Hills Local Municipality, North West Province, offers both a secure, serene, and peaceful environment, close to the central hub of the North West Province, and will encourage many levels of local economic empowerment and downstream business opportunities for the community.

2019 Sunrise To Sunset 100KM Magalies BIOSPHERE Women’s Walk

March 19, 2019 - March 23, 2019

Come and join us in this unique opportunity to explore and enjoy the beautiful UNESCO sanctioned Magaliesberg Biosphere, The Mountains of Wonder.

This unique 100km Women’s Walk will happen over 4 days, covering different areas and geological sites in the Magaliesberg Biosphere. The 4 routes will cover an average of 25km per day. You will be required to carry only your daypack with water and snacks for the day. Busses will transfer participants to the starting point every morning and return to central accommodation in Rustenburg at night.
