Broederstroom was founded in 1903 with the opening of a trading post in the area by the Jallapor family.

Phaladingwe means "prettier than others" and this trail lives up to its name by offering beauty & interest for both hikers & nature lovers. A delightful 3-4 hour nature trail, (about 6,8 km and of average difficulty). Begins & ends at the historical Preller House Restaurant at Pelindaba.
